ฮีตเตอร์อินฟาเรดไฟฟ้า ชนิดคลื่นสั้น (Short Wave Infrared Heater)

ฮีตเตอร์ไฟฟ้าอินฟาเรดชนิดคลื่นสั้น ผลิตจากหลอดก้ว Quartz ภายในบรรจุสาร Halogen ผิดหลอดกึ่งนึงถูกเคลือบด้วยทองคำมีคุณสมบัติในการสะท้อนที่ดีเยี่ยม ช่วยให้อุณหภูมิที่ใส้หลอดสูงสุดถึง 2,400 °C สามารถแผ่รังสีอินฟาเรดออกมาในช่วงคลื่นสั้น (Short Wave) 0.76-2 um ซึ่งหลอดอินฟาเรดทั้วไปตามท้องตลาดไม่สามารถทำได้

ช่วงคลื่นอินฟราเรด Short-Wave เหมาะสำหรับวัสดุที่มีส่วนผสมของ Organic Material อาธิเช่นพลาสติก, สีฝุ่น, สีน้ำมัน, ผ้า  และกระดาษ จะสามารถดูดซับรังสีได้ช่วงดังกล่าวดีมาก ปัจจัยอื่นอาธิเช่น สีของวัดสุ สีดำ (Black Body) จะสามารถดูดซับรังสีได้ดีที่สุดในขณะที่วัสดุที่มีผิวเงามัน สีเงินเมทัลลิค รังสีส่วนมากจะถูกสะท้อนกลับ
